Some respite for environmentalists in India. India’s bio-diversity got richer with the discovery of 12 new species of frogs and 14 insects. According to the report released by Zoological Survey of India, most of the frog species were discovered in North East India and insects in Kerala.
Two times the number of species recorded still remains to be discovered in India, said Dr. Ramakrishna, director, Zoological Survey of India.
