Under a special package of the state-owned Nagaland State Cooperative Bank (NSCB), all households of Thekrejuma village in Kohima district, have access to banking facilities. This would enable them to take micro-credit if required.
NSCB’s Managing Director, B K Thadani, said the objective of Financial Inclusion Policy is to provide access to savings and to facilitate loans, insurance, etc., to those who are excluded.
“The bank is also contemplating to provide innovative insurance policies at affordable cost covering life, disability and health cover in cooperation with insurance,” he added.
