As many as 481 child labourers have been found in Pimpri-Chinchwad in a recent survey conducted by the municipal corporation. The civic body has decided to provide education and other benefits of government schmes to these children. Subhash Machare, worker welfare officer and assistant commissioner, Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) told TOI on Monday: “The survey was conducted by the All India Institute of Local Self-Government (AIILSG) on behalf of the municipal corporation.
