The art historians of the state got a rare opportunity to discuss papers with their counterparts from other states today. The opportunity was presented by the 17th All India Art History Congress currently being held in Abhinandan Hall on Booty Road, Ranchi. The event is considered a significant platform to showcase Jharkhand’s archaeological history. Around 70 scholars, art historians and archaeologists from New Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Assam, Orissa, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Bihar and Jharkhand are participating in the event.
