January 15 – 31 2009 Oil and Gas Conservation Fortnight, India. Oil and Gas Conservation Fortnight is organized by the Oil sector, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, and Petroleum Conservation Research Association(PCRA) to increase awareness of Oil and Gas Conservation in India.
January 4, 2009 was World Braille Day. Braille Day offers an opportunity for organizations working for the blind to showcase their work, promote Braille literacy and educate the public about the issues affecting the blind.
